City of Point Russell has opened Round 2 of its 2026 Annual Community Grants Program, inviting community groups and not-for-profit organisations to apply for funding to support projects that strengthen connection, inclusion and wellbeing across Point Russell.

Council's Community Grants Program is designed to help create a community that is resilient, inclusive and thriving, and reflects Council's strong commitment to social justice, equity and civic engagement.

Eligible community groups and not-for-profit organisations can apply for:

  • Community Operational Grants of up to $1,500 (new for 2026) – community-led initiatives that trial new ideas, explore emerging needs, or improve access to services and information
  • Small Project Grants of up to $5,000 – essential day-to-day costs that help community groups stay active, safe and connected

Groups that have already received a 2026 Annual Grant are not eligible to apply in this round.

To support applicants, Council will host two online information sessions via Zoom:

  • Wednesday 4 February, 1–2pm
  • Tuesday 10 February, 6–7pm

Those looking to apply are encouraged to check eligibility requirements and read the grant guidelines before doing so.

Applications for Round 2 of the 2026 Annual Community Grants Program close at 4pm on Friday 27 February 2026.
